Our Story
We're Atiya & Waleed, a husband-and-wife team behind VR N3XT. We're excited to share our story with you!
Growing up in Dubai, we are used to a world of indoor, family-friendly activities. However, once our kids (8 and 6 at the time) outgrew soft play areas, we realised that our options for regular family hangouts became surprisingly limited. Besides the occasional trip to the cinema or bowling alley, we found ourselves at a loss. Most social venues seemed to revolve around bars, especially during peak times and weekends, inadvertently sidelining families and young people under 18. This experience made us realize there was a significant gap in family-oriented entertainment here in the UK.
That's when VR N3XT was born. It's not just about the cool tech and immersive experiences (though we've got plenty of that!). The 'N3XT' in our name is a shout-out to the next generation. We're saying, "Hey, this space is for you. We are N3XT!"
We're also deeply concerned about the growing mental health challenges facing our youth and seniors. In a world that's increasingly digital, we're on a mission to bring communities back to the physical. Face-to-face connections, shared laughter, and real-world experiences – that's what we're all about.
But we're not stopping there. We're passionate about nurturing the next generation of learners and innovators. With technology evolving at warp speed, traditional schooling can struggle to keep up. That's why we're introducing kids to cutting-edge AI and project-based learning that sparks curiosity and entrepreneurship under our Edutainment flag.
Lastly, we've noticed how families can drift apart in the daily grind. VR N3XT is our answer to that. We've designed a space that brings people back to the present, creating beautiful memories and lifelong connections. It's about rediscovering the joy of being together, in the moment, sharing adventures.
